What Is Profhilo?
Profhilo is one of the most innovative bio-remodelling treatments available in aesthetic medicine today. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add volume to targeted areas, Profhilo works by dispersing ultra-pure hyaluronic acid (HA) beneath the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin — the two key proteins responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.
Developed using patented NAHYCO hybrid technology, Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available in a single injectable product (64mg of HA per 2ml). This unique formulation allows the product to spread evenly through the skin tissue, providing deep hydration and bio-stimulation rather than creating volume or structure.
At Regener8 Aesthetics in Selly Oak, Birmingham, we offer Profhilo as part of our commitment to evidence-based, regenerative aesthetic treatments. It is particularly well suited for clients seeking to address skin laxity, fine lines and overall skin dullness without the use of traditional volumising fillers.

How Does Profhilo Work?
Profhilo is administered using a technique known as BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points). Five injection points are used on each side of the face, carefully selected to allow the hyaluronic acid to flow and distribute evenly beneath the skin. This technique maximises the bio-remodelling effect while minimising the number of injection sites.
Once injected, the hyaluronic acid begins to stimulate four different types of collagen and elastin. Over the following weeks, the skin undergoes a process of remodelling from within, resulting in improved tone, tightness and hydration. Results typically become visible around four weeks after the second session and continue to improve over the following months.
Your Treatment Process
- Consultation and skin assessment — Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals, review your medical history and determine whether Profhilo is appropriate for you.
